Buns brought and girls packed. We hit the road to the Saturday wharf flea market before jumping on the ferry to Fafa island for a wonderful two-day/one night stay.

Simple magic weather so we snorkelled and lazed around on the lounges drinking Fafa coladas compliments of Tracey.
Sometime in the evening (no-one wore a watch) we moved to the restaurant and ate seared tuna, beef ragout and prawns.
No girls gig is worth it salt without the late night/ early morning chats over a bar of dark chocolate… and so we stayed up sharing stories and slurping tea before the five of us slipped into our tropical slumberland under canopies of mosquito nets.

A walk around the island was the prelude to breakfast. Claudia kindly allowed us the day use of a ‘friends’ fale as we had to check out of our room at 10. She also sent us a bottle of New Zealand Champagne which we sipped over looking the little palm fringed garden. Everyone was reluctant to jump off the boat and return to reality.
So lovely, what beautiful pics to remind us of a truly wonderful time together. Just loved our visit. To all the girls out there, treasure your girlfriends, you never know when you may be lucky enough to end up on a idyllic island in the south Pacific to share tales, treats and memories of the amazing times you have have grown through together. Sending love to Tonga, Byron, Surfers and Wellington. XXXX TT in Hobart……..(wearing 2 jumpers!!!)
