Guests over for a five and a half marathon lunch on the front verandah was a great way to while away a Sunday afternoon. It was an interesting little group of volunteers plus a visiting husband. Around our table we had Lauren from Junee who leaves in two weeks after a year at the auditor’s office, Stefan from Canberra is at Tonga Health, Jeremy from Sydney (although lived most of his life in France) and his wife Tajeen who is at a Tongan NGO. The conversation was diverse and all over the place which made for a stimulating afternoon as we dined on a middle eastern style chicken dish followed by Jeremy’s crepes, Lauren’s gluten free brownies and fresh pineapple… Which is just coming into season… And simply divine.
Had Saane our landlady over earlier to monitor the next door church volume. We all decided it was way to loud (as usual) so Kotoni called the Police who came and told them to keep the noise level down… Come 6pm and off they went without much change… So it has now become a joint Saane/Kotoni undercover project to monitor the volumes for the coming week.
Lunch sound lovely and great to share hospitality with friends. Mullet looks happy and Very pleased to hear that you have taken proactive action with the dubious sounds of Pentecostal tunes ringing out loudly from Next door. Honestly perhaps God is deaf after all !!!!

Tracey… I think even God would like some better singers than what we are subjected to next door!
