Sea of Pink


Most mornings I go for a walking circuit through the streets of Nyaung U before it gets too hot.

I see different things everyday.

This week and last week I was treated to a sea of pink – as nuns of all ages traversed the streets to collect alms from those who wished to donate and be blessed.

It was such a beautiful sight. I indeed live in a very special part of Myanmar…
