Welcome to our new Sanon students

This month we had 23 enthusiastic Myanmar youth rock up to Sanon to start their 12 month hospitality training course.

My main volunteer role is to teach them a formal English class every day (Monday to Friday) as well as mentor a local colleague to take my place.

Gordon also teaches English and assists the managers to deliver their ‘standard operating procedures’ using interactive and dynamic learning techniques.

Everyone is so keen to learn which is making our job so rewarding… and fun!

  2. I wish each and every student the best of luck with their studies.
No doubt they will be inspired to learn through both your and Gord’s teaching techniques.
You can see how keen they are and how they are enjoying their day by their smiling faces !

  3. I imagine the students feel very special in their uniforms; that in itself should start them on the road of “confidence building.” When one looks and feels good, am sure the brain is more reseptive…
